aren't we actually to blame
for our most immortal enemy
dust
being an issue
in the first place
we, humans, as a species
collectively decided
to inhabit the indoors
have you ever seen dust
in the forest, by the sea?
i don't recall
or maybe as revenge
it wiped my memory
as i wiped it off the windowsill
we trapped ourselves
between these four walls
with the same layout
the same program on TV
same potatoes on our menu
i could go on
but we have another topic
on the table: dust
it's trapped, too
it could go with the flow
blow with the wind
but it gathers in the corner
just like we do
in the cities
as if the 30 minute
drive to work
was another wall
holding us hostage
are we dust?
