some say it will reveal itself
others hit me with the

maybe try getting a child
it's the most meaningful thing
you could ever do in your life
apparently that's what late stands for
perhaps it is true
but i won't take it from a man
to make him feel better
to fulfill his dreams
and throw away all of mine
i'm trying to prove
that we deserve meaning
besides the horrors of bleeding
while pausing our lives for 18 years
in the hopes of the man
picking up his socks from the floor
as long as i work as hard as you do
we're equals in every sense of the word
and i'll be mean because i'm tired
of deciding what to do
where to eat and book the table
